Could It Be Possible?

Artlens Visual Culture and Photography Workshop, which continues to work under the name of art and photography in Izmir, is preparing to meet its audience with the exhibition to be opened with the “Art Project” workshop, which started in the last months of 2017 under the leadership of Nilay İşlek, Nilay Uluğ and Aliye Erkurtulgu.

The 4-month training and production process of 18 participants from different age and occupational groups, who are devoted to photography, worked on the use of photography in the field of contemporary art and created the exhibition “Could It Be Possible?”.

Under the title “Could It Be Possible?”, the exhibition participants discuss the art of photography, especially in the context of contemporary art, pushing the boundaries of perception, objects, perspective and concepts, and revealing their own unique perspectives with their photographs.

”Could It Be Possible? ” will be held at K2 Contemporary Art Center on January 26, 2018 with the participation of Aysun Kurtuluş, Aysun Sarıkaya Akyürek, Birgi Tekşal, Efe Yiğit Akmazoğlu, İbrahim Tanağardıgil, Mert Erem, Mutlu Çağlar, Nilgün Karaman Özel, Önder Köktürk, Sinem Ceylan, Selin Başköy, Serdar Demir, Suzan Özgü, Işık Güner, Tülin Unganer, Veli Sert, Yasemin Kıran, Zehra Atlı. The exhibition, which also includes a photobook with the photographs of the participants, will be open until 07.02.2018.
