The artist is currently working as a researcher at Izmir University of Economics as part of the Trans-making project.

The Trans-making project aims to establish a multifaceted research and innovation network active in the field of space production/space-based art activities as a space for creating alternative narratives for social, economic and democratic regeneration. It will examine and experiment through space production to actively contribute to the educational support of individuals and disadvantaged minorities and to the democratization and well-being of society through research and production in connection with art and new technologies.
The aim is to strengthen the research capacities of academic and non-academic partners in Europe and Third Countries by exchanging knowledge and expertise in a joint research program focused on collecting, documenting/discovering, experiencing/realizing/designing. The ultimate goal for Trans-making will be to establish a long-term collaboration between partners in order to have a scientific and innovative world community for research (including art-based research), innovation and educational activity on topics related to the project.

Currently, Crvena is preparing to welcome the first researchers from Lubljana, Valencia and Istanbul in the coming months, while Crvena researchers Andreja Dugandžić and Adela Jušić continue their fieldwork in Valencia and Izmir.
