‘Echoes’ is an exhibition consisting of the installation of two video works that are shaped by a similar question. Is it possible to bring people together in the most fundamental state of existence, in an essence that transcends difference and connects them?

While Senem Gökçe Oğultekin and Levent Duran’s video installation Dun (home) emphasizes the sensory-bodily aspect of being human, Isabelle Vicherat’s video installation ‘As the wind wishes’ highlights the power of wishes, regardless of the language. Using basic elements such as wind, soil, stones, trees, bodies and sounds, both works resonate between the peoples of two neighboring countries with closed borders, drawing attention to the beauty of the possibility of meeting around the same essence, and seeking alternative ways to live together in the same geography.
