Inside Outside Turned Upside Down

Man is reconstructing “time” in which the contexts of “being” are discussed. Until now, the expression of thought, calculations with the developing media, repetition in movement and the overlapping of information decomposition have been achieved. In the process that started with the alphabet, man has surrounded himself with images with the developing and proliferating printing technology. The “new-self” (the individual), the content of the post-internet society, has difficulty distinguishing between the private and the public sphere, the virtual and the real, the inside and the outside of art, and between the self and the other. “We have to reappropriate what makes us who we are here and now, we have to remove ourselves from a world that no longer strives to have meaning but to be meaning itself.” A person engaged in any profession becomes his own profession, that is, he becomes meaning itself. Art, on the other hand, becomes a simultaneous simulation within art, the simple expression of being liberates itself from the trivialities of re-representation and reproduction in the same way that it liberates itself from aesthetic concerns. The present may be evolving towards a space where everyone who presents themselves as part of meaning becomes an artist.

In fact, instead of simply digesting the powder-pink or black-toned border violations and the collapse of binaries into one another that characterize postmodernity, it is necessary to short-circuit the system of binary oppositions that determines the horizon of thought and movement with unlikely juxtapositions. Starting from metaphors that will disrupt the meaning-making functioning of stereotyped discourses, taking them back to what they really belong to and the meanings of things, unraveling their contrived structures of fiction, de-metaphorizing metaphors can be part of the solution. Changing the visual metaphor and positioning the information in the duality of real and false is one of the ways the exhibition follows.
