The Sound of the Wall

Cities whose past is constantly erased, buildings that are demolished and new ones built, stones that are removed and discarded as they age, walls that crumble and break…

What hits you in the face in the city is transformation. This transformation is constantly defined by “more”: newer, newer, shinier, more technological, smarter, higher, more expensive. This is a market that wants in cities what big global companies say in their advertising slogans! The desire to give more in the city where they live to an audience that listens to the “ask for more” call of a cola brand or the promise of “always finding more” that you remember from an automobile brand, has created big cities that have no identity, whose past and memory have been destroyed, but are replicas of each other.
